“ Tonight all our regular chippys had either people queued up the street, or a one hour wait, so we thought we’d give this tiny place a go. What a hidden little gem this place is, we got served straight away and everything was cooked fresh, which is always nice to have. The chips were just as we like them, crisp on the outside and fluffy in the middle, and very few of those nasty small sharp bits. The fish was also nicely cooked, had I known they did kebabs, I would have tried one of those, so it will have to be next time I’m afraid. I’ve heard the southern fried chicken is something to try, unfortunately someone had eaten it all tonight. I look forward to our next visit to holt, this is our new place for takeaway. ”
